LFoundry continue to produce image sensors on orders Aptina on newly purchased plant


Aptina company this week announced the establishment of "a strong, strategic partnership" with the company LFoundry. Agreement reached by the parties provides that LFoundry will issue orders Aptina image sensors at its Italian factory.
As you know, this factory LFoundry recently acquired from Micron . Enterprise, designed to work with 200-mm plates, more than five years produces sensors for Aptina, so that, in fact, it will continue to pursue a way of life. The Treaty obliges LFoundry produce Aptina sensors for at least four more years to come.
For clarity only add that the company Micron, the former owner of the factory in Avezzano, a co-owner Aptina.
Aptina image sensors used in smartphones, tablets, car video systems, televisions, medical equipment, cameras and other devices. In particular, the production of Aptina sensor found in Nikon V1 cameras .
