SSD OCZ Vector interface PCI Express accelerates reading 930 MB / s

Our colleagues were able to observe in the SSD OCZ Vector volume of 960 GB, made in the form of an expansion card for the bus PCI Express.

In essence, the device is a RAID 0 array of two drives on a single card expansion, built using VCA 2.0 architecture .

Demonstrator shown at CeBIT, in sequential read speed registered 929.96 MB / s. In the sequential write rate is lower - 883.94 MB / s. When reading in the 64 blocks of stream 4K read speed is 544.71 MB / s when writing - 486.19 MB / s. The test results in about ATTO is 1000 MB / s. In the synthetic tests, the more close to real use cases, including the work program and game speed exceeds 396 MB / s.

Stated in the specifications, read and write speed is 1000 MB / s performance - 140,000 IOPS.
