Among the most interesting features of the product - 16-phase CPU power system with two 8-pin EPS. CPU socket is connected with four slots for DIMM, in which you can install up to 64GB of DDR3 memory in dual-channel configuration.
The board has three slots PCI-Express 3.0 x16. Modes of their operation depends on the number of installed expansion cards, one card will get all 16 lines, two - 8, in the case of the three line cards are distributed by the scheme x8/x4/x4. Additional features provided by the presence of four expansion slots PCI-Express x1.
For mass storage, there are eight port SATA 6 Gb / s. Equipment also includes an eight audio codec port Gigabit Ethernet, eight ports USB 3.0, two outputs and one output HDMI DisplayPort.
It is assumed that the same printed circuit board will be the basis of models Z87A Gaming Series and Z87A-GD65. The first will be different "gaming" design and advanced features of overclocking.
