SanDisk has announced that its flash memory iNAND Extreme is included in the reference platform based SoC NVIDIA Tegra 4 . In this case, it is a tablet. This fact may favorably influence the spread of this fast flash memory manufacturers of tablets (which will use the Tegra 4, and possibly among others).
Recall that the memory interface uses e.MMC, produced at rates 19 nm and is characterized by read and write speeds of up to 80 and 50 MB / s, respectively. INAND Extreme chips are produced in volume from 16 to 128 GB, but a press release from SanDisk, with regards to the reference tablet NVIDIA, refers only to 16 and 32 GB. It only remains to wait for the first tablet based on Tegra 4 to check is whether the producers' wishes »NVIDIA.
