At the Mobile World Congress 2013, which these days takes place in Barcelona, Acer CEO JT Wang (JT Wang) made his prediction on the amount of supply of smartphones the company this year. According to him, to the end customers, the Acer will ship 2 million "smart phones": obviously, the prognosis is very discreet, but and realistic.
As noted by the top manager, Acer will focus on the promotion of smartphones in emerging markets, including - China, Indonesia and Thailand. Such a move will bring the division, which published the smartphones on break-even level in the next year.
In anticipation of the opening of MWC 2013 Acer, we recall, has introduced two new smartphones - Liquid Liquid E1 and Z2 , and a month earlier model debuted Liquid C1 based on the processor Intel Atom Z2420.
