Toshiba microSDHC memory card with support for SeeQVault designed for high-definition video


Copyright protection is the focus of manufacturers that produce removable media, suitable for recording high definition video. Toshiba has introduced a memory card microSDHC, that incorporate SeeQVault. According to the manufacturer, the new cards "are a flexible platform for the storage and distribution of high definition video."
Entitled SeeQVault lies technology to protect the materials in digital form, co-developed by Toshiba, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony. Licensing of this development the company does NSM Initiatives, and the very licensing began on 22 February. Underlying SeeQVault - bidirectional authentication with a unique identifier and a public key infrastructure that allows to create a secure storage environment and dissemination of high-definition.SeeQVault technology can be integrated into the memory card and supporting devices: smartphones, tablets, TVs, etc.
In a series of Toshiba microSDHC memory cards includes models with 16 and 32 GB, the specifications of SD Memory Card version 3.0, Ultra High Speed ​​Bus I and U1 UHS. According to the manufacturer, the media read of speeds up to 40 MB / s in write mode - up to 20 MB / s. Deliveries study samples will begin in March, and the commercial availability scheduled for the end of the year.
