The exhibition MWC 2013 Chinese company TCL Communication, produces smartphones under the brand Alcatel, has introduced several new devices. On models of One Touch Idol X and One Touch Fire we have already written, and now focus on two other devices - One Touch Snap and One Touch Snap LTE. Despite almost the same name, both models differ substantially.
The equipment of the One Touch Snap went quad core at 1.2 GHz and 4.5-inch diagonal display resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Last protected heavy-duty glass production Dragontrail Asahi Glass. RAM is 1 GB, the amount of built-in flash memory - 4 GB (2.4 GB of it available to the user). Small amount of file storage compensated by slot for cards microSD.
The developer has given a smartphone with two cameras: resolution of 1.3 megapixel front, rear - 8 megapixels. Both supported video resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In the configuration of One Touch Snap LTE, as you might guess from the name, is a modem LTE, but it is not the main difference from the One Touch Snap. Thus, this model has a larger display (4.65 inches) lower resolution (854 x 480 pixels), a higher-capacity battery (2200 mA • h), OS Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the dual-core processor at 1.4 GHz.
Rear camera Alcatel One Touch Snap LTE characterized resolution of 8 megapixels and provides video recording resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Resolution front camera is 2 megapixels. Overall dimensions of this model - 134 x 69,6 x 10,9 mm, weight about, again, no.
Both smartphones are equipped with communication modules Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Their cost has not been revealed, but it is known that the One Touch Snap will go on sale in April, while the One Touch Snap LTE will be in stores in July.
