At the recent CeBIT, Plextor showed solid state drives, which use flash memory devices such as TLC NAND, made at rates 19 nm. In the series, the name of which is not disclosed, includes models 128, 256 and 512 GB.They are equipped with 256, 512 and 768 MB of cache memory type DDR3 DRAM. All models use a controller Marvell 88SS9189. Drives have SATA 6 Gb / s. They are made in the size 2.5 inches.
128GB model in the sequential read speeds up to 530MB / s sequential write mode - up to 380 MB / s. On write operations with random access in blocks of 4 KB, it demonstrates the performance 72,000 IOPS. Sequential read and write to the case of the model with 256 GB are 540 and 450 MB / s respectively. For the older models in the series claimed the highest figures - 540 and 465 MB / s, respectively.
It is expected that the series will be released in August. The price data are not.
