The company E Ink brought to MWC not only a prototype phone with electrophoretic display , but his other development, showing that the hyperfine and flexible electrophoretic displays are ready for use in electronic devices.
The prototype has a very small thickness (of course, we are talking about the screen, not the frighteningly large box, to which it is connected).
Flexible display can be embedded in non-planar part of the electronic device or element of design, bent during operation.
Low power E Ink screen makes it attractive as a display for the information that must be visible all the time.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not share information about how soon flexible electrophoretic screens can be found in mass-produced products.
