AMD introduced hybrid series processors Elite A, bearing the code name Richland. They are designed for mobile devices, and are characterized by high performance and improved power management. In the configuration of APU AMD Elite A part series GPU AMD Radeon HD 8000.
According to the developer, productivity APU allows for authorization function on the results of face recognition with built-in camera Laptop (AMD Face Login); gesture control (AMD Gesture Control) players, browsers, programs for reading and other popular applications, wireless connection to an external device large-screen display (AMD Screen Mirror); image stabilization in video recordings (AMD Steady Video), streaming video broadcasting (AMD Quick Stream) and improved color video (AMD Perfect Picture HD8).
The list of new models includes A10-5750M, A8-5550M, A6-5350M and A4-5150M. They are equipped with GPU HD 8650G, HD 8550G, HD 8450G, HD 8350G, respectively. The first two models have 4 CPU cores and 4 MB cache second level, the second two - two core and 1 MB cache second level.
Basic and high frequency CPU and GPU A10-5750M is 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz, 533 and 720 MHz, respectively. In the case of A8-5550M they are 2.1 and 3.1 GHz, 512 MHz and 720, A6-5350M - 2,9 GHz and 3.5 GHz, 533 MHz and 720, A4-5150M - 2,7 and 3,3 GHz, 514 and 720 MHz.
All models support DDR3-1600, DDR3L-1600, DDR3U-1333, and the older - and even DDR3-1866. All new APU is available in a FS1r2 and characterized TDP of 35W.
Notebook sales in the new APU has already begun.
